Visitors

I can't believe I actually got the visitor counter to work. I guess I'll find out just how anonymous I really am. I started scrolling through the next blog and it's amazing how many folks post all the time. Of course at least half are not in English, but it's interesting to see the different styles. Next I'll have to figure out how to really customize my template, there are a lot of duplicates out there.

On a somewhat related note, I've been trying intermittently for weeks to get the macros to work on Word 2003. They wouldn't work after creating and closing out of Word. So after doing some microsoft patches that related to virus scan (thought that was the problem) talking to India (HP) and Microsoft - no help - I scanned the user discussions and found out that it's actually Acrobat 7 that screws things up. So after uninstalling it, as I don't really use it, miraculously the macros now stick. I'm sure this is a well known problem the folks at Microsoft are fully aware of. It would've been nice to talk to a tech weeks ago to supply me with this simple answer. It is nice now however to have it figured out.
